Well, I whipped up this little baby in a day or so. Had to get everything together and put it into a "portfolio" so I could submit to a few contest sites. Mainly, just for this one. It is an interesting little design, I guess. I wanted to do something a little different with the screenshots. I believe it has been done before though... but not by me! :D It wasn't heavily planned, but it works for right now. What do you guys think about the site itself as well as the content (keep in mine, some of the stuff in there is pretty old). Maybe in the future, I will plan a different one and maybe use a little flash. For right now, the only updates to it might be to make the Roll Over images gray-out when you mouse over them, and any good suggestions you guys give. :D

Yeah, that was kind of what I was going for.. It is my portfolio site so I wanted to be different. I didn't want the same old text links on the left content on the right feel like my company site is.

In the future, I have an idea for a Flash portfolio with some sort of 3D character or object.

Thanks guys for your comments!

I LOVE the horizontal preview thing. The downside is that you can't preview before you're taken to the actual site. I'm always wary of that because I don't want anything "innapropriate" to pop up...although that wasn't a concern on your site.

Also, I'm looking at this with my son asleep in the next room...I clicked on one of the links and realized too late that my speakers were all the way up. Maybe you could add a little icon of headphones or whatever to warn about sound.

Outside of that, excellent work, man. Very impressive.

Thank you. And yeah, I never create anything with Nudity. There may be a few swear words in my graphics every now and then, but until I get a good camera and a willing model (which will be never), there probably won't be any nudity or anything like that on my site. And if there ever is, I always put warnings up.

Sorry about the sound thing. I hope it didn't wake him. Always asume that animations come with sound though. Why did you have your speakers up all the way when your son was sleeping anyway? lol

Oh, don't worry about it. It's totally my fault that I had them blaring. I usually mute them, but I must've had a brain lapse or somethin' last night. I hope I didn't come across as critical cause the site truly rocks.
:)!
