To check for an error in an HTML page
1.Go to validator.w3.org. go to the "Validate by File Upload" tab , then go to "Choose File" and locate the doc on your computer. If your page is online click on "Validated by URL" and enter the page address. This will display a list of errors, fix them before you proceed
2.Upload the HTML page to your website.
3. check your page using different browsers. According (Firefox, IE and Chrome).
4.go to htmlhelp.com/tools/validator/ and type in your page’s URL. Fix any errors listed before proceeding
5.Go to watson.addy.com and enter in your page’s URL to validate it. This validation includes o spell checking, verifying links, generating word counts and download speed . fix all errors listed before proceeding
6.Review the CSS by going to cssportal.com/css-validator/.
