Photography light types

1. Side Lighting
when the light comes from the side it provides good contrasts and can add depth and long shadows .
2.Back Lighting
When the light is behind the object and is fixed at the camera silhouettes are created easily.
3.edge Lighting
When the light comes from an sharp angle it makes highlights beside your objects edges .
4.Ambient Light
Ambient light is soft light that is not direct and usually bounces from surfaces to other surfaces. This kind of light lowers your objects brightness.
5.Soft Light
Soft light reduces the contrast levels and shadows. It’s great for taking portraitures, or photographing nature.
6.Hard Light
Hard light could be extreme in brightness and can make high contrasts and strong shadows
7.Spotlight
focused light highlights a specific part of an object or a scene. It can make shadows and contrast. adding dramatic impacts to your photography.
8.Artificial Lighting
studio lights, built in and external flash units are examples of artificial lights. This type of light adds flexibility.
