I'm wondering - how common is it really for a CH to rate/not rate designs? I am new but have entered several contests and received positive feedback for multiple submissions.. and yet, the only rated designs I have are from the same contest and were ones that ended up being eliminated. I'm just curious what the experience has been for others. And I'm confused why a CH would give positive feedback for a design but not rate it at all, when other designs are rated and have less feedback.. it just all seems sloppy to me. Some CHs start rating at the beginning and then stop!

Your question is for Contest Holders. Every CH have his own way of ratings.

I was just seeing what other designers thought about the way CHs have used the rating system.

It's upto the CHs...some are very active while others are sloppy...:)...also it is upto their mindset...sometimes they like a direction, but the next time they sometimes change the mindset and goes for a whole different direction...
