I believe that such a published media as a gazette which will be both sent via email and will be avaliable online in plain HTML will find its reader. And we have designers and other web development professionals who are willing to share their knowledge and can donate their time to write for DC gazette. We could also review contest and the entries and discuss general design questions with the contest entries in mind. But the idea is too general right now. We need your comments and suggestions to plan everything ahead before we start. I would be interested to know 1.what do you think about the idea in general 2.what do you think are the most interesting subjects to read about 2a.do you have any ideas for columns/sections of the Gazette?

Personally i don't like it to read from screen even though i have a really good monitor. I think a lot of people would agree with me that reading from paper is so a lot nicer.

But printing the gazette professionaly and sending it all around the world would be very expensive, probably way too expensive. But maybe you could have a printer friendly versions for the ones that want to print it. (so just 1 click print).

These days creating a PDF file from an online version takes just a couple of clicks, so that can be a printer friendly solution.
