Hello designers,

Hope all of you are well & happy :)
today i made a concept for a friend for his business.. and i need to know your opinion and criticism about it and how to improve it if needed!!
Attached File  WATCH-LOGO.jpg   50.66KB   442 downloads

It's called H Watches
and the watch icon is supposed to form the shape of the (H) letter.

Looking forward for your comments

Regards,

Selma

Nice concept.
I think you can do away with the grey rectangles. It will give more clarity to logo. The two parallel blue lines and the arms of clock are sufficient to convey the clock form. Also I think the H in text should be same blue as the icon you created. and the text 'watches' can be grey.
Hope you like the suggestions.
regards

Hello,

Well designed. it's so formal, my suggestion is to design it for kids.

I love the simplicity of this design, and I really like where this is going. However I think the H inside the watch needs to be slightly more obvious. For some reason the rounded edges of the H in the watch bother me in contrast to the straight H of the type....but that might be completely a personal bias!

Greetings like an angel, I think what you do is a square watch, perhaps a Swiss watch that inspire strength, ahicon rectangular shaped watch that you can play with the letter H and put it in an ingenious way, I think then you can achieve great logo, hope help you, a hug for you and for all.

You might want to explore putting the name to the side and playing for a more formal font.. perhaps a Lucida bright or make it a bit edgy using etnocentric font style.. You can go away with the base lines just add the small hands of the clock (the one that moves in seconds)... rest s good.. am just suggesting some alternatives you might want to try out...and maybe perhaps you can improve the H Watch... You had given more emphasis on the Watch more than the HWatch name.. well in my view,, that's how it is.. Hope my comment helped.. : ) Nice work!

Is the business production of watches or selling watches? If he's actually producing the watch, I'd say ditch the watch in the logo because it becomes redundant.

- try a version with the H (watch) on the left side of the text "watches" (eliminating that single H letter)
- try a version with the rounded corners of the watch design straight edge to imitate the H letter
- try a version with all caps "H WATCHES"
- try a version with all one color (a white on black, a black/navy blue on white)

Looking Very Good,
Just a suggestion you can replace H with watch at the top.

You have a rectangular watch with a pretty rounded typeface. I just don't think that the typeface fits here. It gives off an almost playful feel, while the graphic of the watch is serious and elegant. I think you should do away with the rounded ends on the H that makes up the watch graphic, and also replace the typeface with something more straight and serious. Also, as someone else pointed out, the two H's should be the same color.

It is clever, using the H as the graphic of the watch. However I think it needs a more solid direction.
