Newbie :) About Design Contest designers' advice

Hi I'm just new here! and I found this website fun and a learning experience for me. I'ma designer graduate well actually not fully design graduate cause my course is I.T major in digital art. I'm passionate about design, and sometimes I'm hard on myself to push on my limits in designing I'm working on a company now, and somehow I'm getting a bit bored so I need to explore my talent as a designer to broaden my knowledge and skills. I hope my fellow designers could give me advice in regarding what a designer life should be? I'm an aspiring to be a famous artist so all your comments and advice are welcome
