I have been working in Adobe Illustrator for a while now, mostly creating logos and vector graphics, and everything looks clean and sharp inside the workspace. But the moment I export the file, especially as PNG or JPG, the quality sometimes drops, colors look slightly different, or edges appear less crisp.
I have tried different export settings, played around with resolution and anti-aliasing options, but the results still feel inconsistent. It gets even more confusing when the same file looks fine on one device but slightly off on another.
I was recently discussing this with a team that offers logo design services, and they mentioned that color profiles, export settings, and pixel alignment can all affect the final output more than we think.
Is this related to color profiles, pixel preview, or export settings that I might be missing? Also, what are your go-to settings for exporting designs for web use versus print?
Would really appreciate if someone could break this down in a simple way or share a reliable workflow that works consistently.
