Hello, just a suggestion to all members and of course to our admin;
I think it's a good idea that an admin may in charge-a designer team member (as a leader) to have a "Club Meet-up" per location. The idea is, we can have a meet-up every month or semi-quarterly, depends... in a cozy place where to tackle down projects personally and get to know each other too... kind a cool, I think.... but we should know who are nearest buddies... e.g. meet-up @ newyork, philippines, LA., ... depends ... and maybe we can do our our DCN merchandise to wear like caps, polo, etc... anyways, I just wanna share this idea, that members would be more active in our community (DC.NET) and not only virtually but the actual community :)

I also, would want to hear from you guys! :cool:

Well... I am not that connected here yet. I don't know if any one is close by. I am not sure such a meeting would be profitable expenditure of time. Not that everything has to be about $, but that **is** what I work for... I am curious tho if there are any DCers in the Seattle area...
Blessings,
Nancy

Not sure how many guys are that are really active inof to held such things. Also dont know where most come from or if there is a central point were everyone can go to. Doubt that everyone lives close to each other. Cause there might be allot from America but they can be spread all over making hard to have a central meeting point.

Jut too many questions need to be solved to do this. And also if you look at the active designers in the dsign team is really small and all are from across the world.

Well put. The boards help to keep us connected, sharing resources, etc. It is our common meeting place! :)

I live in Toulouse, France. If anybody happens to be here I would really love to have a cup of coffee together.
I really hope that Vicki (nevadabadgirl) can make it here next summer - it will be the first time I meet someone from DC in person.

oh, I almost forgot that in about a week I'll go to Japan. Any DC members in Tokyo who want to have a sake? ;)

Always welcome in Amsterdam ;)

I love this city! Next time I am there I'll drop you a PM. And of course to Chung Dha too. Though he is not from Amsterdam itself hope he can come and have a cup of coffee with us.

Amsterdam is easy just 2 hours with the train. However Amsterdam isn't most central place in the Netherlands. If someone from limburg need to go there he need to travel way much longer.

Looks like almost all the members that posted until now in this thread live in different countries, and some even on different continents. I don't know if a meeting would be possible. The hangout section of the forum seems like a better alternative, well, at least until travel costs are smaller...

Nonetheless, I'd love to meet some of the members of this forum in person.:)

If anyone comes to Romania...:)
