The background isn't sharp enough en innovative solutions is bit unreadable. Also more info for what kind of thing this is for or company.

I also think it's a little to dark in the lower right corner. Add some wispy lines or something and see how it looks. Oh and the txt should stand out a bit more.

I suppose it could be a bit sharper, This company is for a product.. called chicory which is flower, azure is the color of the flower the client wanted me to use azure blue and give it a spacey kind of feel.
It's a product to help field crops such as corn grow faster than others.

The background swirls look more like smoke to me than space. And the blue looks more purple (on my screen anyway -- probably just my monitor). I like the type and agree with Chung Dha that innovative solutions needs to have more contrast with the background.

I would never have thought this was a site for an agricultural type product. Have you thought of presenting the client with an alternative design (in addition to their concept) that is less spacey and more appropriate? I can't see farmers relating to the product from the website.

I'm not to sure if i should leave the nav buttonless or do something with it..
Any ideas?
I think this gets the meaning out.

Feedback appreciated

I think it's much better but I'm not sold on the color palette -- just my opinion. I think you need to keep the color palette limited like you have but use different colors. :)

Does the company have a catalog? Having a "Request Free Catalog" button is a great way for your client to get customer names, etc. for their database. Maybe that could go up in the top right corner?

I like your second design a lot. It's very clean and open and really nice on the eyes.

I'm just not totally sold on the whole page being saturated in brown hues. Could you enhance the green in the field a touch? Green suggests growth to me - and a brown field seems like a dry crop.

I'm also kind of wondering if you can still incorporate the azure blue you mentioned earlier. I love the earthy tones of your second design, but I'm wondering if there's a way to have a touch of the blue to this image somehow.

azure (->blue) fields (->green) with brown picture, isn't it a bit confusing?

I think SMJdesign was going for earthy and natural. I agree with you though -- the design needs to be a little brighter with the blue incorporated in there somewhere. The second layout is definitely an improvement over the first.

The blues and greens could possibly be incorporated into the logo or even the menus since there will be animations of some sort.
Good start though!
