So I was bored and made this for some minispaces contest. I entered too late so I will probably get very few votes, but really i just felt like designing something for fun. Its for the new all electric mini. The contest specified it was just a background design with an electricity theme and didn't really have any other application. soooo this is what i came up with

the plug in piece is nice, but the burst is not symmetrical, even though sometimes that can be good, it doesn't please the eye here. Maybe even it up, and add a gradient to MINI?

I have to agree with Chung Dha on that one looks too fuzzy. Maybe if you made it look a bit more static/lightening kind of look? Did you just make the background or logo as well?

I agree the light streaks are a little much. I think it would have been cool to have the white of the MINI logo (wings and circle) intensely glowing like a light bulb about to burst from too much electricity. Also I like the plug concept for the word PLUG IN but the font doesn't create much interest. Helvetica I think is too much of a classic font. Or maybe even if you italicized it it would contrast MINI nicely. Just my thoughts:)

The logo could be better if the outer rays are not so bright and long.
