Hi there people!

Burak here, from Japan.
I am designing web sites for 6 years now. Also designing logos and other print material for about a year. Using mostly Adobe CS4 Web Premium in my works.

Also developing web apps for about 6 years using PHP/MySQL/AJAX

Currently learning:

I am sure I'll get inspired by your works, and hoping to inspire you back with mine.

Hi, Burak, welcome to DC! where in Japan are you from? My wife's family is from Toyama and we go there every year. We usually stay in Tokyo for a week every time we are in Japan.

BurakUeda, that's kind of far from Toyama :( Anyway, there are not many people from Japan here and I am glad to have you on DC!
By the way, do you have a portfolio or any other website with your works?

Hey, Burak, I read in another thread that you are originally from Turkey? How did you happen to move to Japan? Besides, your last name is Japanese, right?

I have a BA degree in Teaching Japanese in Turkey. I have joined the JET Programme in 1998 and living here since.

My last name is not official yet :). I will apply for the citizenship this year, so Ueda will be my last name.

FMD, I am afraid I am going to dissapoint you but I have no interest in cars. I don't have one, I even don't have a license :)

On the other hand my wife has one of these, crimson red of course :) But still not a Japanese car...

I see now! yeah, I got a degree in teaching languages myself (English) but I did not choose the right country to live in (France) and my wife is Japanese. I envy you a little that you don't have that mess with the languages in your life :)
As for the wife, yeah, you are absolutely right. Besides in reality Japan is matriarchal society.
