Hi,

I registered at Designcontest.com a long time ago. But, I haven't used it for a while now. When I came back, I saw that I need to be an elite-designer to take part in the contests. I dont remember this being a rule to take part. I guess designcontest.com has grown more professional since my last visit. Anyways, one of the requirements to be satisfied by me to be considered as a qualified applicant for elite-designer is that I need to have 10 or more posts. At first I was dissapointed with this move. But, I soon understood that this forced me into the forums and to go through others' ideas and previous submissions. This helped me to get a better picture of exactly what the designer team is looking for and what the contestants and contest sponsors are in need of.

But, I should admit that it took me quiet a while to find the links to post a new thread. I found so many links for different threads but I went through almost all the pages in the website to find the link for it. So, I request the developers for the site to post more links for creating new threads. It was equally troublesome to find my posts and threads.

Thanks,
nandavanan

Hi there welcome back to DC!

When you click on a forum you want to browse through if you look up to your left near the top above the different threads you will see a button... "new thread" That button lets you start a new thread in that forum. Each forum has that button so you shouldn't have go searching for the new thread button.
