My name is Jamie, but I normally go by J or J-Mill for freelance. I am a stay at home mom trying to make an honest buck any way I can. I graduated with an associates in graphic design in 2005, and I have been freelancing ever since.
I have been playing the crowdsourcing circuit for some time. It was the only way I could work doing what I love, with my limitations. I specialize in logo and branding design, but I really hope to expand into web design. My skills just aren't as good as they should be.
My program of choice would be Adobe Illustrator. Vectors are so AWESOME! I also love the iMac. I know all you PC people out there have some guff about it, but I won't say anything bad about a PC. I just love my Mac is all.
I really hope to grow more through joining this site. I figure I can build a good portfolio and maybe pick up some clients along the way. This could help me get a job.

Hey Coy! Thanks for the helpful links. I'm glad that I have been doing everything the right way for a while. Like with the vector format and creating outlines for text. I have always done these things. The links were very informative.
