Hello all, I'm just coming out of college and here is my first attempt at designing my portfolio (WEB) Let me know your thoughts on the colors.. They look right to me and they seem to match to me, layout type etc. Is it visually pleasing?

Thank you.

Looks very inviting/warm/cozy. Definitely liking the colour scheme, good job!

You might want to think about your grid a bit.. the way the text indent and headlines are positioned make it feel a bit unorganised. Maybe try adjusting the headline padding-left to be the same as the text body indent.

Have you decided how to implement the font in the headlines? There is a tool called Sifr that lets you write in standard xhtml and then when the page loads it goes thgouh and changes your headlines to a specific font (using flash variables essentially). Its pretty easy to use and very customizable. sIFR 3 Documentation & FAQ

nice mock-up, though if it's for a personal portfolio you should really find a way to put your personality into the peice

it looks good but it doesn't tell me much about who you are

Yea more of a personal touch would be nice, looks too much like a template from some place else. Also might be because you have not gotten that far, but the variety of fonts seems is interesting. But I like the background and color scheme.

howcasing your work is an art (pardon the pun) and in this article I am showcasing 50 of the most stunning portfolio websites out there. These designers are all class acts and well worth being hired for any type of work you may have.

If you’re a designer as well (which I’m going to assume a lot of you are), these portfolio layouts should inspire you to (re)work your portfolio layout. We’d love to know what you think of these portfolios, so don’t forget to let us know in the comments section which is your favorite and why
