Hello world! As mentioned, my name is Shane Chapman. I own Lime Drop Marketing and I do both contract and freelance web design, graphic design, identity, development, etc!

I am/we are located in Regina, SK in Canada, which is centrally located between timezones, so we are around quite a bit regardless of what time it is in your area!

Anyways, looking forward to being part of this community and offering what we can do to the clients who rely on this community for their needs!

Take care!

Hi Coy. Thank you for your reply!

I do have 3 others that work for me, but in different areas. I am the lead designer. The others are employed as photographers and promotions for our local businesses and clients.

So as far as the projects here, all would be attempted by myself, with the others simply in a "consultative" roll.

Thank you for the links!

Thank you for the honest answer.
I (maybe we???) feel it's really not fair if there are more than one person/designer working on a project. Since I believe everyone here is a single designer.. you know 3 heads are better than one type thing, kinda gives an unfair advantage towards the colaberated effort. ;)

enjoy the site it's a great place.

I hear what you're saying. But yeah, I'm the only designer. Myself, two photographers, and a client relations/promotions guy makes up the team. But the other 3 are focused on local efforts. Any work I find online, I go at myself.

Hi, I have just removed the URL from your post - the anchor text is too long. It's probably good for your SEO, but I don't like this spammish links on DC.

My apologies. I didn't realize that the forum would display the anchor text.

I didn't post it to spam or improve SEO. I simply put it there because it is an introduction thread, and provided a place for people to find out more about if they so choose. I looked at other threads and that seemed to be common practice.

My apologies.

no problem. I just hate spammers and there are so many of them these days... but it is obvious that you are a real and adequate person. Feel free to use the link, you can even add it to your signature. Just make the anchor text shorter and more to the point. Thanks!

sorry about the shaky welcome. We are very glad you're here, just some issues that's been brought up in the past that I figured would be better put to rest from the get go. ;)
Nothing against you personally and hope it wasn't taken as an attack against you.

Just to clarify, I didn't enter that text. I simply typed the url of the website, and the forum seems to have displayed my websites "title" as the text for the URL? Is that not normally supposed to happen?

No offense taken.

But as I mentioned in the above post, I didn't put that "anchor" text. I just simply typed www . limedrop . ca

But for some reason it seems to have used my websites title as the text for the link.

Let me test that again here:

EDIT - yes it did it again. I guess if you just type a URL instead of using the link took, it uses your websites title as the link text.

you can edit your message later to see how the tags work. later you can just write whatever you like in the tags manually.
