I also do photo manipulation. This one took a long time to do. Each petal is a new layer the has been cut and removed from the original rose photo I took and colors changed using channel mixer and and hue adjustments.

For all those folks that like snakes....(I used to take photos for a large petstore chain, the photos were ad and display shots as well as paper inserts and mailers. So I took lots of fish, reptiles and other small animals. This is a baby ball python, the photo was taken in the store (you can see the store window reflections in the eye) on and he was behind glass. I don't think I would be able to get that close if the snake was in the open

after a hard day or maybe after xmas shopping.

I did a study on a family of geese about 5 yrs ago. This goose family became very trusting of me and let me sit with them and I learned so much just watching these guys. The family and extended family structure is very strong. When I am walking along the river one of those babies from that yr might hear my voice and call out to me, very interesting. This little guy is just starting to get feathers and the poor thing looks so pathetic LOL

Some of the geese photos are not the best quality but they tell such a cute story. This one is a favorite

Flower photography will always be a favorite subject for me. I have been lucky and had many of my flower photos in betterhomes and garden magaizines, the specials as well as birds and bloom

Great photos! I especially love the close-up photos of the grapes and the snake. What type of camera do you use?

I use several digital camerals, they are all sony and each one I use for different subjects. My current one is the DSC-H50. I have always had very good luck with the sony cameras. I most of the time do macro and flower compositions so the carl zeiss lens has been a major influence as to the camera I use. Mt very first digital camera, A sont as well had the carl zeiss lens, that camera was a teeny tiny 1.3 mp and the images were on those floppy discs. I made a lot of money with that first camera. I took AD and display photos of fish and repetiles for a large petstore chain. I still do fish and reptile photos for folks but not as often as I used to.

You take amazing photos.
Its even better when the photographer does all the adjustments themselves.
The colours you gain are so lush and pleasing to the eye.
A true professional!

Love the grapes the black & white with the color is great, I think maybe the BG could be a lil brighter thou, and adjust the contrast to make all the shadows pop. I have one like this of a flower.. love your flower shots also

Sharies photos are incredible. I adore the one with the tulips. The flowers are really nice and detailed, and the matching background is truly great.

The grapes are amazing. Two words come into my mind: "yummy" and "mystery" when i look at them. I imagine that behind that tree a murder took place. :)))
