I've seen Avatar today and I must say that Avatar opens new frontiers to cinema. James Cameron is my hero!

Opened new frontiers in science as well. I wanna know when I can try out my own avitar and go diving off cliffs. Really great movie. Breathtaking in many ways.

Absolutely. You should see it in the "True 3d" version. AMAZING effects!

For some reason I haven't been too interested in this movie... haven't really looked past the previews on tv, though... but with a review like that, maybe I should go see it? It's playing here in 3D IMAX...

Absolutely! I wish I could see it in 3D IMAX. Too bad they have only regular 3D cinemas here in Toulouse. Definitely go and tell us how it was!

I've seen it but not in 3d...there was so much going on that I think 3d would blast me off

I saw it twice in 3d
The 1st time was an amazing experience
the second time was a headache :D but I had a chance to observe Cameron's strategy specially after I watched this hilarious review!

I saw the movie a while ago and I think it's a good movie. Yes, maybe the story is not that original, but the means by which the story was told opens new possibilities in cinema.

I think Avatar 2 is inevitable...LOL !

ZukiH - that's funny! I love Lost...

I still haven't seen Avatar. I think all of the hype is off-putting... I should probably go see it, not miss out on something that's great just because I'm tired of hearing about it. HAH.

I wasn't thrilled to go watch Avatar either. Not my style of movie, however I did really enjoy it. The effects were amazing. I was more impressed with the previews for Alice in Wonderland in 3D.

I agree that I hate hype. I didn't watch Titanic for 4 years after i came out! :)

@ GoldenZ: How do you replay Avitar over and over? Do you have a copy of the movie or something?
