Hi everyone I need comments!

I havent been here for weeks. This is the design im working on. One of my friends wants a shirt with a graphic design that tells his story.

He's working for an IT company in belgium. He's been to Thailand 4 times already. He loves Thailand and the first requirement is, of course, something that looks thai. He doesnt want dark dark, heavy metal design, so black shirt is out of list. He wants kinda colourful but not so gay or feminine. He wants something that looks a bit modern. He doesnt like the shirt with the design all over it.

So, here it is. I think it's not finished yet. But, I'm asking for your comments if i'm doing it right, then i can think of whatever is missing.

PS. I joined a couple of contests here but I really don't like it's system. They don't even let people who are not what they call "Elite Designers" to post their works which are related to the unexpired contests for "Elite Designers", eventhough their works are pretty good. I don't understand what is so bad about it.

I still find it easier to join and win contests outside.

The only thing I like about this website is that you can meet a lot of designers from around the world and ask for comments.

No, not everyone can enter contests at first. DC wants you to join and become part of the community which I think is great. A lot of other design contest websites are just about winning--most people copy other designers' designs which is wrong and very frustrating. But hang in there--DC is worth the wait!

Now to your question: I think the design is interesting. Is that a desk in front of the figure? It's kind of small on my screen so it's hard to tell for sure. I like how you incorporated the letters into the desk. The colors look a little drab on my screen though. Maybe use a dark blue or purple where you have the dark gray? I think you will still achieve the look that you want but the colors will have more life to them. Nice job--hope my comments help.

I haven't been in Thailand tho- But from the movies I saw about Thailand there is Unforgotten Objects like the Their Boats, Buddha Temple, The colorful fishes.. These elements diffently talks about Thailand. At the end, its Just a thought..

Your design talks about his business trip to Thailand right? There is a gurl and a notebook and a Desk. Who want to remember an amazing trip like Thailand in a mood of work. I think you should focus on the places he visits.. That diffently will refresh his amazing moments with the overview of the city. Try to use some elements i mention above.. A boat.. Jumping fishes.. A Fished man..

Well, not really, he's here on vacation "away from his boring job", you know what i mean he always says he doesn't like his job so much. he comes here one month per year because thats the longest period he can b away from the office. I donno. I think i was trying to say he's kinda 'dreaming' about being here all the time when he's at work. He likes everything here of course, well, especially the girls ^^ thats why i use the girl.

Thank you for your comments hmm i'll think about the colours. but the way i was thinking, i tried to make it look boring when u look at the desk but very lively on the background. Yeh, i'll think bout other symbols too. but buddha and temple. i donno. I've seen them a lot on the shirts for tourists here. but there must b a way to work on it to make it different from other shirts.
