Hi Reeni,

I actually like the last one the best! The top 2 feel a little "Studio 54" to me, though I do like the colors... The third one is... well... it just is. I don't really have much to say about it, it's not bad, doesn't blow my hair back. But, the 4th one attracts me the most - I like the colors, the abstract shapes, the reversed out company name... it's not obvious and it's attractive.

Good luck!
:) Brandy

i think the fox is too childish for a graphic studio...

i mean the logo should be correct, not fluffy. the best is the last. simply, pleasant. the first is too stark. But it's hard too comment when I know too little about your firm and your style. when is your business we're talking about, the personal touch is very important

Sorry reeni_ but

Was it a stupid comment? Yes
Is less valuable than other comments? maybe Yes
Could other people be as stupid as me and see the same thing? for sure Yes

In fact i do see the sleeping fox, but if i want to do business with a company called Foxy Studio, I want the fox to be cunning, witty, intelligent or sexy. Not sleeping on the money i am giving him (her)...

As for the other

- First ones looks too much like like an old techno flyer
- Last one? the swirly doesnt speak to me about anything, the "F" looks strange

It depend on you style and what kind of client you want to impress. Identity design is the hardest, especially for yourself, you want to show the right image of you and your style.

I say go back to the drawing board, you will get it eventually

If I was designing this, I think I would make it 1970-ish as opposed to using a fox. By 1970-ish, I mean funky, not dated. Your second design is along the lines. Nobody said designing was easy!

Ok, From what you got going on here.. lets see.

I think the first has the most potential. The type is off... I would make the T solid. and the end of the Y should come down a little more I think. Also see how your box is not symmetrical? It looks like its wrong because all of the curves in the font you use are the same. If you made those boxes symmetrical I think you come come up with something kind of interesting.

I dont like the fox illustration really. little too detailed for me maybe. that wont scale well very small. Maybe just a head or something?

The last one is interesting.. but I dont think that typeface holds up real well to be by itself... what if you used the font from the fox illustration logo and tried it using the same kind of setup on the last one.. I think you will find if you are not going to have a "mark" you will want a unique typeface.

Just my 2 cents.. lets see what you come up with!

Also I am not trying to design the logo for you or anything.. just trying to give you some criticism and tips to become better.

O think the last one of the samples. I like the fox but for a graphic design studio I wouldn't want something sleepy.
If this is a female owne dstudio, there are quite a few things one could do with a fox. I have seen some outstanding fox graphics, one was for a vinyard fox orchards and vinyards. one of the neatest designs and the fox had white, the red/brown and black so color pallett stayed within reason.

The fox you have here is just too cute. but then one could say that about my cat as well.

If you wanted to use a fox it would be worth playing a bit taking out the childish look and giving it a proud type look, that look would pass down to customers in a subliminal type way

Just my 2 cents

I like the first one and the fox but the fox needs some work.

I like the odd shape of the boxes in the first one with some of the suggestions mentioned my noxie it could be cool.

The fox I think you should loose the body area and develope the lines a little more give them some curves perhaps (fat to thin??). leave the leg area that covers the face the V shapish area by the nose, this I feel give is a mysterious look to it and could become sexy in a way. You may also want to play with the font as well something thats less messy but still script-esc.

Number 2 looks too 70/80's and dated. the last one is nice if it were for your web site but the image/logo really won't be very brandable in my opinion.?

I like elements of all of them, but I like the first one best, though it needs a little bit more work. The type and the element above aren't lining up, they are slightly off. Maybe playing with the colors, fonts on that one until you get a good balance.

The second one, the illustration is good, but I don't think it would be a good fit for a design studio unless the fox was active like others have said.

I really like the abstract background of the 3rd one. I'm just not as fond of the actual logo. Since that type of swirl is really over used these days.

I hope this is helpful, and good luck to you! :)
