I really love it.. The best part is the sky... I like how it changes but stays constant throughout the whole composition... try to do that with the bottom as well in future paintings.
The only thing that seems out of place to me are the robotic stuff... those sharp edges make it look a little too "pasted on" ... maybe add some blurring to make it blend it.. make the viewer have to "look" into your artwork. Make them want more.
It is a great piece. I wish you wrote about the meaning off all of the things (=

It looks good, because even if there are many elements incorporated, the whole composition looks unified.
I think it would look even better if you could make a point of interest for the composition, either by color, or with some space. The lion head looks like a good candidate.

Thanks for the feed back, and yea i havent been happy with the bottom as well, want it all come together the the ground or rock or something, still working on it.. the lion, I drew by hand, and thats probably why it looks alittle out of place, I am redrawing it now, in photoshop, trying to paint it cleaner and also add some elements like smoke from vents and add more dirt to it.. its just something that I come home to at the end of the day and just kinda play with to get better and also to unwind..
Thanks, and please keep the comments coming.
here is the initial pencil sketch that was the basic idea.. and i over time changed it to better fit the piece..

Elp,
Nice work.... I love being able to see your work from concept to finish. I really would have liked seeing the Full bodied Lion as a Centerpoint. I feel it has more power and lends to greater overall balance in your theme. I feel the lions Head alone seems to be floating and not gelling like other elements. I still love the piece just an observation.

Yea i colored in photoshop, but I also colored it by hand, or about half of it.
I agree with the lion, and I am still trying to figure out how to make him the central feel to the piece, with the flaming head and the body, when I get some time. It just had been consuming my freetime so I had to get a way from it for a bit.
Thanks for the response and have some other artwork up at

I like the prodigiousness of the design. There's a lot going on and it all works together beautifully conceptually. The colors are a bit scattered for a point of interest. Red draws the eye so wonderfully. Maybe toning the rest but those things that would lead the eye around down a bit to blue, or making an arc of red as it spirals around the lionhead would help. But I think that's a minor consideration and you've done a wonderful job as is. The intense highlights work really well across the center.
