Hey all-- I know I haven't been on in a while. the last few months have been crazy but I now have some news. I officially got accepted to go after my MFA in Advertising. I'll be doing it on-line with the Academy of Art University in California. really looking forward to it, haven't been in school in a LONG time, and ready for the opportunities of the future.

I will probably start posting updates as a blog as I go thru the program.

I am going to try to take part in as many discussions and contests as I can while taking courses.

Hope all is well with DC!

Cheers All!!!

Wow, Good Luck cre8ivediff. Did you get a scholarship or grant? I know those programs can really drain you. I would love to read your blog to see how it is going, I really would not mind being in your shoes... Once again Good Luck, I am sure you won't need any.

Good Luck. I would only offer the advice in education as I know it. Being in the World of advertising it has changed big time. Keep one foot in the digital side of the business at all times.

Thanks for the support! No...no grants...not many for Graduate Degrees...so I'm sucking it up, getting the aid I need/can, biting the bullet and just going for it. It is one of the items in the short list of my options at this point. And, probably most importantly, I have the full support of my wife and family.

as far as the digital side goes...as many electives and outside course work will ALL be techno/digital/media related so, yes, definitely keeping that in the fold.
