It's interesting to note that many brands that stand for excellence will transition to a new symbol/mark/log very gradually and over a great length of time. It's rare that they'll make some dramatic leap or desperate alteration to fit in with a trend.

Of all the check marks I believe that Ford is the only one than to followed join linear with the design.

It looks like Mazda has made the most drastic changes to its logo and brand overtime. Whereas the BMW and Ford logos are virtually unchanged aside from some very minor modern treatments.

I think everyone likes these threads about logo changes, am I right? It drives us to think about what was the needs of the business at the time, and if it was just a request due to trends or some other environmental variable.

i like 1965 Peugeot most
i guess it is the only company whose logo has grown uglier :S
