i guess these are ur best options to go.
they are vector based programs..means that they can make designs that doesn't lose quality when resized.
unlike raster based programs (a.i. Photoshop) that depends on pixels.
also BTW..u should download these canvas & but ur designs in..so they does not get removed from the contest

But if you are not satisfied with the results of vector software. you can combine with Adobe Photoshop to get the maximum logo design.
But I rarely do it because a lot of time spent.
Remind me if this is wrong
Thankyou

Hello,
I am having trouble choosing a logo maker and so it would be really helpful to me if you could tell me which ones you use. Can you please help me choose a logo maker?
As for the best vector software to create logos, that's a matter of personal opinion. Most people have only used 1 software fore a long duration of time and their opinion becomes bias because they only spent a few hours testing another. Which naturally, a few hours is going to feel a bit strange in a new software compared to the one you learned on.
I've used Adobe Illustrator (4 years), Corel CorelDraw (3 years), InkScape (2 years), & Serif DrawPlus (5 years). While, I do have more time vested into Serif software's, I have dedicated years into other vector software's as well testing out cross platform compatibilities, usability, rendering, ease of use, etc..
To this day, Serif DrawPlus x4 remains my primary vector tool, Adobe Illustrator is my secondary, Corel is my 3rd, & Inkscape I no longer use at all.
Each designer has a different set of tools and style that they do things. If we all did it the same exact way, it would be way to boring of an industry for me.
The most important aspects to consider & ask yourself when choosing your software tool for logo design is: Does it render in industry standard formats compatible with my clients needs?, Am I comfortable working with this software several hours per day?, & Does this software do what I need it to do?
I would suggest that you test a few different software's out for a while to find the right fit for you. Some companies offer a free trial so you can test them out before you decide to invest.
