Hi everyone, which is the maximum original sources file?. I've uploaded a 5m zip file (It has several files)and It was rejected. I've uploaded before but I got logged out, then when I logged in again the contest tread still asking me for the original files.

Would someone please check if actually there are the original files of Corn Chip's Label Contest or do I have to upload the zip file again.

Thanks for any help in this issue.:D

Greetings.

you may need to upload more than one file. Making the file the exact size for the label, expand the strokes and text will make the files smaller as well. Does he want cmyk or rgb? cymk files are always larger than rgb. This ch in the past want rgb because that was all his printer/print person could do, so maybe checking on that also...don't know if I helped any

as sharie said, & if the files still too big ..maybe u can pm the CH or include a note in ur files asking them for where u can contact them & send the rest of the files. i've done that before. bcuz the CH asked for lots of different versions of the design.

Thanks the both of you for these helpful replies. I’m going to get a smaller zip file taking some of your advises.

Nevertheless, is there a maximum file size?

Actually 5 m for a vector work is HUGE, but I was picky to included everything that I could in order to make the CH happier.:p fua fua fua....:D

I reduced the file size to a 1.27 m and I had no problems at all. Thanks. But the CH asked me for a version without an element that I had to took it away.

Is there a way to send it to the CH trough DC?

I gave him my email but It would sound as an imposition, give me your mail and I will give your logo!!! :D

Greetings.

I knew you would find it. I knew there was info somewhere I just didn't have time to go looking for the link. Glad you found it and congrats on the chip label. They are great people to work with. I did the apple salsa label for them and found them very easy and just great people to work with.

Really MY MISTAKE...whoa, it almost bites me.

Yeah, I saw that they wanted you to pull out this label based on your great work on the other one, that tells a lot about the kindly people they must to be.

Thanks for your help, the most important thing about this thread is that people takes my example and don’t make a fool out of themselves asking for this kind of issues...:D

Have a good day.
