why Serona and Prince Philip contets still on deadline?

I know the rules, but for Serona contest was given much more then usual two weeks to be closed. soon will be half of the year. Prince Philip was not going for so long, but it looks like going the same way...

So what is wrong? I do not think that I will win these contests, but at least I would like to know who should.

So, the main thing is that I do not want to enter other contest and spend my time on them when looks like two of them(that I know, maybe there is more) are some how living-dead.

I would like to hear other opinions, maybe admins will explain whats wrong with these contests?
