The logo for the Rio 2016 games has just been unveiled.
The figures represent the sugarloaf mountains.
With the colours of the brazilian flag used.

I think it looks great, definitely the best olympic logo I have seen for sometime.
The figures represent unity and sportsmanship very well and are quite dynamic.

Any other thoughts?

I definitely agree, not sure about the sugar loaf mountains, However the Unity and sportsmanship ring out loud, in fact it almost looks as if it was meant to resemble a Ring. T really love the choice of fonts used also. Definitely one of the better Olympic logos

I was impressed by the first appearance of this logo. It's clean, definetly a step above some of the older Olympic logos, and has a bold sense of unity and motion that even comes through with the font. I wonder if this logo could keep its impact when it's translated into black and white.

It's great! The colors are appropriate to your logo design especially the text font and color.
