Today I was troubled to find that I'd lost 1st place to a low resolution bitmap logo. I don't want dis the winning design or the CH's choice so I won't name the contest, but, how important is the 100% vector logo rule to design contest?

If I were allowed to use bitmap effects within a design I could go to town with brushed metal effects etc. I do try to abide by DC rules so it would seem that I am at an unfair disadvantage.

All thoughts appreciated,
Stripe.

I have put this contest on hold. No files have been uploaded. I am waiting on some info from the contest holder on this. The designer will not receive a gold for this

Thank you for your prompt response on this. I have to agree that a logo should be scalable vector format. It's a shame because the concept was O.K.

O.K. so the medals have been stripped. I've no longer got silver but I'm in the first position. What is happening please?

As mentioned in another post what precautions are DC taking to prevent this type of issues from happening again in the future?
