Clipart copying

I have seen a lot of people using clip art lately. A lot of them are using the live trace option in illustrator and just tracing it that way just to get rid of the watermark. What do you guys do when you see this. Cause I know of a few designers that are doing this right now and I was going to submit a report on the designs. But from what just what happen to me on a contest about this same type of situation. I knew they allowed the design from another designer to stay in the contest and win even though it was just downloaded clipart and then modified.

What do you guys do when you see stuff like this?

for me, i take a deep look at the details that can't be created in the same way by coincidence.. this kind of designs should get infractions right away.. multiple use should be banning.

sometimes it's hard to tell when designers tweak the original design.. but in most cases they get caught.. the ones that got away with it once usually fall really soon, as they will do it again.

Selma, unfortunately I can't agree with this. It is very hard to report those, there are millions of clip arts out there, thousand on languages other than English.
I just wish they do it less obvious.

Guys, it is very simple and we have been very clear about this: we strictly forbid the use of clip art or any other third party images in logo design contests. So if you see something like that and can provide the link to copied clipart we will take measures. It is as simple as that. There's no discussion possible all entries with clipart will be removed and the designers will be punished.
