Export it in PNG (no transparency bg) and with the exact size (640px x 480px) ;) that should work.

Good luck!

export to JPEG format, use 300 dpi, RGB Color and use 640x480 px in your design first...

Yes, It will because the JPEG (joint photographic expert group) is an compressed image file format but if you export any image in JPEG it can be by two way first is Loose Compression and Second is Loose Less Compression. Select Loose Less compression for 100% output.

Well better option is use PNG (Portable Network Graphics) file format.

Thanks

Use 300dpi, png, and ´save for web´ command. You can tweaking the final file and previewed before safe it.

Use PNG for vector-based designs (logos, *some* web designs, flat colors, etc); use JPG for bitmap/effects-based designs (photos/photo manipulations, crazy effects and filters and gradients, etc).

Also use PNG for images that must be cross-compatible Mac vs. PC. With JPGs, sometimes the colors turn different when transfering from a PC to a Mac or vise-versa.

Don't use 300dpi. 300dpi is only for printed designs. Your 640x480 artwork at 300dpi = 2667x2000 pixels.

Use 72-150dpi for web. 72 is more than fine in almost all cases.

I totally agree
JPEG format
300 dpi
RGB Color
and 640x480 px
This is the best combo for DC

I also have an issue with this.
Even if the compression slider is set to leftmost = 0 value, the pictures color look weird (yes i worked them in RGB and export the to RGB) and looses detail. I don't know why. That's why i turned to AI....

I think the biggest issue is the color provile in your workspace is not RGB it is probably CMYK and when you export it as RGBn some colors are sure to change taking on the closest equivalent.
