Drop shadow different around top menu

This is totally different from what I posted about the top menu not there. This has been happening pretty often and from when I started. After the drop shadow changes the when I go to another page on DC the fonts change to a serif font and then gets all mumbled {tracking and kerning is way off}

If I ever try to go to another page the page converts to just a list of text links and no formatting then I have to close the main window and reboot. I am then able to go on like normal for a few hours then it happens again.
