Paint Shop Pro/ transparent layered background

hi all

I want to save an image (.PNG) that was created with layers and a transparent background. I am not able to keep the layers transparent after saving it. Can anyone please tell me how to do this?

1. Go to File->Save As, and select .PNG format.
2. Go to Save As dialog and click on Options
3. Click "Run Optimizer".
4. Enter these settings:
On the Colors tab:
put - 16.7 Million Colors

On the Transparency tab:
Check on the Alpha channel transparency
Check on the Existing image or layer transparency

5. Click OK and save the file.
