great.

Another technique now a day help designer reduce time consume that we can use 3D and play with all of these simple icon in less time. I rather suggest Cinema 4D.

Anyway this is a very good tutorial to understand more work flow or technique from other designer.

Thanks for the tutorial, I like using the 3D for basic effect but never really knew how detailed the map art function worked!

I love it, the wonderful thing about AI is u learn something new all the time! I would have done this in a different less complicated way but this is awesome!
