Hey sschellinger,

I found dafont .com to be useful, and also ilovetypography .com.

Hope that helps!

Best,
Aleks

hello, I've found that fonts101.com is a very useful site for getting fonts. They have many free ones, and if you are looking for a certain font you can search the font requests forum, I've gotten a LOT of really nice fonts that way.
Good Luck! :)

i realize this is an older thread, but i guess some people still see it.

I like to use google fonts and fontsquirrel.com, they both have only free fonts and both sites make it really easy for them to be used online.

Cheers!

I do know about what the font, i've used it a few times. Problem is that fonts have to be black on white background for it to work properly. But indeed it is a nice tool to have when a contest holder asks for a particular font and you don't know what it is :)

Fontspring.com is pretty good although they have a limited selection of free fonts. But most fonts come with desktop licenses which (to my understanding) means you can use them commerically, which is pretty sweet :D
