Hi VANgatti, thanks for your question. Yes, winning GOLD medals will allow you to earn real money. I enter logo contests, primarily. The minimum you can win for these are $223 I believe. Some are more but many are this amount. I would say that it is not easy to earn money. What you would like in a logo may not be what the client wants. Therefore, it's crucial to pinpoint exactly what the client desires. Many times, however, the client do not provide much information so it is difficult to know what they are looking for exactly. If you can determine this and then create a good looking logo, then you will have a good shot at winning a medal, or even winning the prize money. If you have anymore questions, please don't hesitate to let me know. Thanks!

hi bluemonkey,
on first: thanks for your time! :)
second: can I win a gold medal but do not earn the money? If so, how is this possible? how long after you win your first medal? according to you, in your experience, do you think it's worth it to work on this platform?
thanks!

Hi VANgatti, no problem. Yes, if you win a gold medal, you will earn the money. But it must be a gold medal. Silver and Bronze are not monetary prizes. Overall, I think it is worth to work on this platform. It has its ups and downs but, overall, if you can win, then it is worth it in my opinion. Have patience. All you need is for the client to like and appreciate your style and sense of design. Hope this helps!
