I believe Clip Art limits creativity. It might be fast and easy, but I don't think designers should use them , even if their logo looks really good with it.
For example , If I wanted to create a butterfly. I could use clip art, but what if I made an abstract looking butterfly that looks so much better and represents the company better.

I think its okay to use it, but it hurts our Creativity :/ .

Using clipart is NOT OK in logo design. If clipart is allowed, the clients do not need to create a contest. They can buy a very cheap clipart and just add text.

Clip art is good for inspiration. It gives you a base to work from and then change things to your liking.

I agree that clip art limits creativity. I do sometimes use clip art as inspiration, but never in the final design.

Hello babar786! You can try photo to cartoon software to make cartoon from your photo. Or you can try Manga studio to draw a cartoon.

You can find inspiration in almost anything around you. Sometimes its a good idea to get outside with your camera, and just take a few unusual angle shots. You can then come back and look at new angles, textures, etc.. Sometimes all you need is get your creative juices going with the world around you. Not with clip art.

Agreed..... but its good to appreciate other people's work and no not copy. Get inspired.... for some art is more of a passion than a natural talent and vice versa..... neither is lesser than the other but you can work with what you have to be creative and make really cool stuff. i think

I agree cliparts limit creativity and I think its wrong to use them

But I really use them a lot for inspiration to see what it should look like.
