Hi Everyone -

I'm very happy to announce that I'm currently three months pregnant with our first child, due on St. Patrick's Day (March 17th), 2006! Due to this, I'm giving up some of my responsibilities with DC.net so that I will have time to focus on some other projects that I need to finish before the baby arrives :)

I will no longer be handling the prize funds or updating of the guaranteed contests. This responsibility has been transferred to Illumina, who we know will do a great job! I'll be handling dispersement of any of the current contests, but from this date forward, any new contests that are started will be handled by Illumina.

I am planning on remaining on the Administration staff as I love helping out here, so I'll still be available to help out where needed.

As before, if you don't have Paypal available to you, please make sure that you check with Illumina prior to entering any of the contests to check if the payment option that you require is available. All payment options must be electronic, and preapproved with Illumina, otherwise you run the risk of not being able to receive your prize funds if you win a contest. Please note that even if your payment option was approved with me, you will need to inquire again with Illumina, as any payment alternatives to Paypal may not necessarily be available.

Thank you all for making DC such a fun and inspirational place!

Congrats, Jenn! Children are a blessing! I have a 22-month-old daughter, Zoe Victoria, and my wife is going to have our second daughter, Haven Grace, any day now! It's exciting, isn't it!

Of course, I can't mention Zoe without sharing a picture!

Congratulations, again! I'm happy for you and your family!!!

Thank you very much both seawise & shawn :) We're VERY excited, and it seems like time just won't pass fast enough! Shawn - your daughter is absolutely adorable! Beautiful names, too :) Best of luck to you & your wife with the birth of your second, and congratulations to you, too!
