Below are some basic steps on how to become a professional photographer:

1.First you need to study taking good photographs. Read some books from or maybe take some take some classes or do some search online.
2.A lot of practice is required if you want to become a professional photographer. You can take pictures of your family and friends and almost anything else. Your should make a portfolio with examples that have a wide range of aspects.
3.Print business cards and add your best photo as in it. Make a personal website and put your best pictures in it. Include your contact information and add a mailing list.
4.Try to network as much as possible, in person and online.

Treat every client like they are your favorite client and always work with them to get the shots that they want. Strive for high-quality shots and be professional. If you follow those simple steps your clients will tell friends and family about you and your work. Your client-base will multiply exponentially with each new client.
