I had the same doubt. I only believed it after i brought the image to photoshop and checked the RGB values. Don't worry it is true!!

The second one is awesom. I had it up in my cubicle at work, and it was the talk of the month. I had people from all over the company come to see it. I wish I could find another mind illusion like that.

I already knew the first one. It is really weird, and the best experience that you could do is to print it (even in black and white, it works fine) and to cut the squares...
