I was thinking it would be nice to have a section of tutorials that could assist those who are new to certian programs or maybe a color theory and grid systems ect. Its just a suggestion, i dont know if someone already mentioned it but i think it would be very helpful for some members.

Just a couple of days ago we had a discussion about it in the moderators only forum
It is definitely a good idea and we'll try to realize it. it will be apresico who most probably be the leader of the contests section. I am sure some of the members of our Design Team wouldn't mind sharing their experience!

yes, I am working on making tutorials for new designers, and even advanced ones. I am trying to start off with basic ones and do some advanced ones as I can. I was also thinking that we could have design members of our community contribute to the tutorials if they choose to do so. On my next day off, which is monday, I should have a few to contribute and after that, I will try to add one at least once a week or more. I was also thinking on contributing some HTML tutorials because I know that some graphic designers are not web designers but they would like to be. And I am sure that there are some people who can't apply to the design team because they don't have an online portfolio. So I will have those as well for people who are starting off in web design. I think these tutorials will help a lot of our new and old members.

well, you can certainly contribute if you want :> If you would like to contribute and you are good with html, you can certainly contribute a XHTML tutorial. I think I can make the CSS and HTML tutorials, but if I need anything, I will post and ask to see if anyone wants to help out.
