I just designed a site for usperfurm contest but when i just about to add my post it says that i can't because i'm not a member in the design team.
and when i tryed to join it says that i must be accept paypal for payments but i can't becuase my country is not in the listing!
what i should do?

you should have looked at the rules of DC first. You have to be a member of the Design Team to be able to take part in our guaranteed contests. To find out more about applying here, please, take a look at this page http://www.designcon...ent/view/14/28/
It is very important that you don't try to submit your design outside of the contest. First of all, you will not be able to be chosen as the winner anyway and second it will make it impossible for you to get accepted to the Team. Thanks.

Concerning Paypal, there is really nothing that can be done unfortunately. It's one of the requirements for the Design Team. Previous threads have addressed this issue, so I won't go into much detail about why this is the way it is. If you take a quick glance at this section you will probably find them quite easilly.

I am glad I read this post. I do have a question for the mods and contest admin.. My country is not listed but I can still accept from paypal through an alternative online service (called "xoom.com") in which I have an account. Since I have an account, I just need to send a paylink page so all that is needed to be done is to input the amount to be remitted.
Previously too, a moderator once requested that before we enter a contest that we confirm first the mode of payment that we can accept and I asked her regarding xoom and she said there is no problem since she already tried xoom.
So my question is am I not eligible to join the contest?
I am by the way already a member of the design team probably before the paypal rule.

I have no problems with xoom...one of our designers use it, and I have sent payment with it. As far as I am concerned, you are eligible.

You MUST be an Elite Designer to enter the contests. Please go to www.designcontest.net and follow the link that says "Love to Design" to get more information and the requirements for joining. There are NO EXCEPTIONS.
