Nyx = The personification of night in Greek mythology.
I like the way "nyxxie" looks, and I'm a night owl.

Jennifer = White wave, white light I think... Its an insanely common name.

I saw that my first day and figured it was superuser. I look for things like that because my name is Anna and backwards it is Anna. Go figure.

Anyway, Anna is the name and the name means Gracious. :D

Denis - It draw its origin from the Greek God Dionysos.
and Heracles because he only was a halfgod and I find that's less pretentious than to call myself Dionysos. There you have it! :)

Paasch: (pronounced as "pash" rhymes with cash) is my last name. Is German/Danish for "Easter/Passover".

"Easter Island" is the translation from the original name,"Paasch Eylandt".

Mine is Jaiden,
When I googled it said it meant "God has heard", and also derived from "Jadon" which means "Thankful" in Hebrew.

None of this applied when my parents made it up...they saw the variation "Jayden" on the side of a transport truck... how glamourous. lol

Olesya is a Belarusian name. It means “forest, woodlands”. :)
When I was a child I liked to listen on a radio very popular lyric song about girl Olesya. She was so beautiful and strange that people thought she is a witch and she had to live in the forest.

I thought I would get sophisticated lol ( www.behindthename.com )

NICHOLAS
Gender: Masculine

Usage: English, French

Pronounced: NI-ko-las (English), nee-ko-LA (French) [key]

From the Greek name Νικολαος (Nikolaos) which meant "victory of the people" from Greek νικη (nike) "victory" and λαος (laos) "people". Saint Nicholas was a 4th-century bishop from Anatolia who, according to legend, saved the daughters of a poor man from lives of prostitution. He is also known as Santa Claus (from Dutch Sinterklaas), the bringer of Christmas presents. He is the patron saint of children, sailors and merchants, and Greece and Russia. Nicholas was also the name of two czars of Russia and five popes.
(lol it says nike!)

I was named after the Czars - I don't know why because they were the worst rulers ever. I had to call my mom and ask her why lol she said, "because when you were born I couldn't ever see you being overpowered and looked down upon"

Anyways, thats my story :D (she's kinda a hippy to tell you the truth LOL)

umm.. mine's joseph... from behindthename, it means he will add...

a priest once told me it means shepherd...

but my family name is more interesting, especially for the vberkvlt death-heads amongst you... it literally means dry well in the ceemetery, where bones from reused graves are dumped. the closest english term for it would be charnel...
