Maybe, me too uses PS in making logos but it's better if we use Vector Programs such as Corel Draw and Illustrator.

if where talking about logo it should be in Vector-based images are scalable, editable images which provide graphic designers with unparalleled freedom in illustration and design. So.. I suggest use illustrator or Corel thanks :)

Only when the client does'nt need a vector format you may think about creating logo in PS. But sooner or later your client will ask you about that - so the answer is obvious...

I prefer using Photoshop because of how much more there is to choose from, but for quality I try to keep it in Illustrator.

The better is a Vector programs, because the logo is not craisy, no craisy pixels. Photoshop is a image-editing program- The Illustrator is a vector program, more usefully, because if you work in EPS, you can embed the fonts, convert some detail in outline stroke, and no problems with scailing.

YOU MUST, because logo in ps are not that good, but in image manipulating and image editing it is better to use PS. start learning AI, its not that hard. adobe always makes friendly programs. goodluck.

Adobe Photoshop is the predominant photo editing and manipulation software on the market. Its uses range from full featured editing of large batches of photos to creating intricate digital paintings and drawings that mimic those done by hand.
