Hi everyone,
I just come back from my trip from Phoenix, Arizona and I wanted to share with you a couple of pictures of mine. I found the nature of this Desert very very beautiful.

Awsome pictures :D I've been to Pheonix once to visit my aunt who moved there last year. Theres a lookout point that looks over the city that I loved. During day or night there's almost allways an artist up there doing sketches. At night when all the lights are on, the roads are all Perfectly aligned, it's mind blowing lol. :D

Oh and the apartment buildings are huge downtown - thought I'd throw that in hehe and nice DC shirt =P

Thank you guys,
They call it Sonoran Desert, hottest of North America's deserts. Only here can you find such huge saguaro cactuses. The one on the picture is probably 100 years old. :)

Ouch! You probably hate cactuses after the accident. I tried some candy made from cactus one time and it was really bad.

Nice pics! I wouldn't call that a desert though.. I've been in a "real" desert once..
Would you hug that cactus from me? :D

really? i had a cactus lollipop thing when i went to arizona, and i liked it. it may have been flavored though, i can't recall.

my favorite memory from arizona was finding a hummingbird's nest in my grandfather's front yard. you think hummingbirds are small? just imagine how tiny the eggs are! they hatched just before i left, too.

fav #2: going to visit tombstone, the old western style town. there was a hailstorm!

and of course, i had to see the grand canyon..

Very nice picture! :) I have been to the Grand Canyon three years ago. One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen!

Thanks :) It was very beautiful... when I went, I took a small piece of rock with me, which was quite red at the time. That was around ten years ago though (I was only 12) so now the rock is very pale. It's amazing how much the sun can affect things like that!

I lived in Tucson for almost 9 years and loved it. It is very beautiful. I miss the rainbows but certainly not the heat.
