I don't know if it was just me but when I opened the EPS in Corel, the shapes were huge and since scaling was a no-no, I just went with it, bold & big. I think my guy hanging by a thread conveys desparation pretty well. :p

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, Canadians are asked to pause and remember the thousands of men and women who sacrificed their lives fighting for freedom and democracy during the First World War, the Second World War, the Korean War and during peacekeeping missions.

I see. If possible try to open it with a vector based program such as Illustrator. If not, I can suggest you trying to reproducing the shapes with tracing by pen tool.

I need a quick clarification. Can we use the shapes in the source file + our own additions? Or only the shapes in the source file. And do we need to use all the shapes at least once?

domvarano, when you open this file in illustrator, the artboard is about 550px. so they would rasterize at 72dpi, if that makes sense. :)
