An entity is a term used for a symbol. There are several symbols, like copyright, trademark, etc.. that are placed on your keyboard.
There are three parts in every entity.
•Every entity begins with a ‘&’
•Every entity has a name
•Every entity has a semicolon - ;
All three part of an entity have to be used .
Ex of entities:
•Combine © to make - © - Copyright symbol.
•Combine c ¢ to make ¢
