How to remove the "Powered by" Footer in Joomla

1.Download a copy of the file index.php from your server to your local system. Then make a backup copy of this file.
2.Open the original index.pho file using any code editor and locate this text

3.You can either delete the text "Powered by," "Valid," or "and", leaving the ‘ ‘ and save the file. Or you can delete the whole code between the <p..> and </p> the
4.Upload index.php file and check the results.
