Hmmm.... good tutorial, actually great site to learn photoshop. Thanks for sharing. I am new in the logo designing world. Grabbing lots of contests all around to earn huge from contests. Loved to know this text tutorial. Textuts also teaches nice texture. You have clear screen shots and specific details with work progress, I liked it. Thanks.

You can also create your text in AI - convert to outlines and apply a gold graphic style to it. Simple, fast, and looks great!

Photoshop is good in crating 3d text and effects..It can also be applicable in Ai but you have to create in step by step process..thanks for the link..
