Flash Photography or Not

A group of photographers are completely against Flash, while another group thinks its impossible to avoid using it.
When to use Flash

1.If it’s too dark.
2.If you want to eliminate the camera shake in low light.
3.If you have a good light source, but you need to lighten the heavily shadowed areas.
4.If there is a strong conflict between your background and the foreground lighting.

When not to use Flash

1.If there is good ambient light.
2.If your camera is stable.
3.If you want to feature a dramatic lighting effect.

If you do use Flash try using the SLOW SYNC flash setting. This will allow the camera to use the normal shutter speed it uses without a flash. Try out different flash settings instead of using the auto flash.
