Hello All ..
It's a small question ..
Do you think ..
that the designer should be very good at painting on paper to be good at designing using his computer / tablet .. etc ??

Absolutely not. Even a traditional painter could be frustrated with digital graphics.

Not painting, but drawing is very useful, especially for logo work

For a good logo, must have a good colors, is that a gradient or simple color, it depends on the designer to see the vision was transferred on paper or in digital form. Symbol Logo is extremely important, in order to more clearly able to conjure up a picture of what it is. Font color used to be the key, but there needs to be some boundaries at work, in order not to lose the meaning of the logo.

I am naturally artistic so I often found easy drawing tasks that my friends just couldn't deal with. This is not important when using a computer as you can undo your mistakes. All that is needed is an understanding of the software and an eye for detail. Don't feel held back if you can't recreate the Mona Lisa. :D

I'm not good in painting, but I know I can, its also applicable on designing on PC, just believe in your self, in your ability and your hands will follow

It helps, as long as you're also technically equipped. Painting in tablets can be a huge challenge for artists who has minimal idea on the technical side of the gadget or app used. Yet, those who are aware technically also requires a bit of creativity for him to have his desired output.
